where can you get a double bike basket that would fold over into a cage you can lock?

that pretty much covers it, i just wanna know where you can get one, if they even have one or if id have to make one myself, i wannabe able to put it on my bike and have my boombox in the basket and be able to fold the other basket overtop of it when i go inside of somewhere and lock it. thank you

I have never seen a basket like you describe, but I have seen wicker baskets with a lid, which is lockable. And I have seen bikes with a rack on the front on which you can place any crate that is not too big. And of course, there are crates with lockable lids too.

Both kinds of baskets/crates with rack should be available from any good bike shop. As most countries do not have many good bike shops, you might need to search online to find the bike shops in your town/area.
The only link I have is from a guy working in the Netherlands who is making baskets to order and is also selling racks. Just to be complete I will add him to sources. But I am sure you can find something suitable in most countries in the world.

But I would not leave a boombox in a bike basket, even when the bike is locked to something and the basket is locked to the bike, as all locks can be easily broken.
And bikes, even when locked to a rail or post, have a tendency to fall, rattling your boombox in its basket/crate.
And I do not know about your weather, but here you are sure to get a downpour when you do not expect it, drenching your boombox if there is only a basket to ‘protect’ it.

And on a personal note, I do not think that riding around forcing your music to other people is the right thing to do. Better bring a personal player with earplugs, you enjoy your music and the people around you are not forced to suffer from your choice.
